JaBig’s $25 000 DJ Marathon Fundraiser for Montreal’s Hungry School Kids
JaBig will soon be setting out for his big journey, becoming the first DJ to drive around the world by car to fight child hunger worldwide. Montreal, his hometown, is the starting point of this epic adventure–he will kick off the Big Journey with two DJ marathons (DJthons), with the first challenge aiming to raise $25 000 to benefit Le Garde-Manger Pour Tous.
During the month of Sunday 27th March to Wednesday 27th April 2011, JaBig will perform over 100 DJ sets of 1H30 on average in retail stores, boutiques, clubs, bars and lounges in Montreal’s downtown and donate 100% of his fees to Le Garde-Manger Pour Tous.
Le Garde-Manger Pour Tous is a Montreal organisation that produces 3000 HOT & BALANCED meals per school day, which amounts to HALF A MILLION meals every year for children mostly from disadvantaged backgrounds in Montreal.
