DJs are gadget freaks. I am no different. For the past four or more years I have been hearing good reviews on the DJR 400, a portable DJ mixer made by a French team of audiophiles. Those who have tried it swear by it and it must be something if at EU2000 it sells without a problem!
I see it as being the ideal mixer for a touring DJ who does not trust hardware found in questionable clubs and other types of venues or who simply prefers to use the same tools at all his or her performances which makes sense because there’s nothing worse than spending the first half an hour of a set trying to figure out an unfamiliar mixer or trying to fix a troubled one.
