JaBig’s Big Journey Website and Blog is a behind the scene account of what goes on to make this unprecedented record-setting DJ world tour by car happen with as little glitches as humanly possible.
What is the distinction between “Big Journey” and “DJ World Tour”?
The Big Journey is “the making of” the DJ World Tour and the travel aspect of the journey as opposed to the artist aspect.
The Big Journey is a round-the-world trip that I am embarking on to promote my non-profit record label, raise awareness, funds and support for the largest hunger relief agency on the planet and most importantly to fulfil a lifelong dream to visit the whole world while I can.
The Big Journey is also a dedication to the one billion hungry people worldwide. If there’s a world problem that can be easily and quickly fought is worldwide hunger. I am committing my time off from behind the wheel and the turntables to raising awareness about it and hope that I as journey along more and more people join me in supporting agencies that fight hunger in distressed areas.
The Big Journey can also be looked at from an abstract point of view. Anyone who decides to spend many years on the road, travelling from place to place performing to hundreds of people at any given of time, is a big lifetime journey that will define him as a person.
Who has never dreamed to go on a round-the-world trip?*
You will probably have noticed that “big journey” is a nice play on my name (JaBig). Yes, I came up with that all by myself and I am pretty proud of it 
(You may notice more than a few grammatical mistakes. I have an excuse: English is my third language! 
– In all seriousness, I hate editing what I write. That’s why I have an editor who goes through my posts and organizes the mess. You have spotted them before she makes the edits)
